Okay so I bet all of you noticed that MSW is just around the corner. We are speculating it will start today, on October 1st, but it may not be entirely true.

But no matter when does it starts, it’s important to be in clear with the updated rules as best as possible. When clicking on the MSW page, you get this.

It’s forbidden to use clubs to gain votes. You can thank your voters, but you can’t open competitions and clubs where people have to vote you to enter in whatever raffles. And I’ve seen a lot of people using these. This is called bribing.

In case you want to know the Staff’s opinion, this is what Lisa has confirmed in the Royalty Club.

You also should not think think that using fake votes is alright. Like you shouldn’t believe that you would actually ‘get voted back’. A youtuber, Beatrice has made a video about it. Not only it’s disrespectful…but you also look like a total bitch. And you are publicly shaming yourself. Here’s a link to the video if you want to check it out. It’s basically the whole ‘MSW Community in a nutshell’ from what have I noticed.

There’s nothing else to cover, I think. But why would you compete or even play this game if you’re unable and unwillingly to follow the rules? Then you’d be the one crying after all the real-money lost on a game which kicked you out for shit stuff you’ve done.

Oh. Before I forget. If you still want to spam, you should check who should you spam. Like if their presentations (like mine) say no spam allowed: no voting, no clubs, no gifts; don’t spam. Just no. Because not only you won’t get voted back even if it’s a real vote, but you’ll also get blocked. And that’s not useful to be recognized as a pest by half the community when running for an overall popularity campaign. Am I rite?

Now I think that’s all. Okay? Take care and play fair if you wish to run. Don’t get dumped off the roster for a mistake you didn’t know you’d make.

Freebies: MSW Golden Eyeshadow

The MSW season has started with a mini photo-comp where you gotta take a picture of your MSW-ready suite. Well…you have to use at least one or two stuff from the new MSW Decor shop…and we both now how atrocious they are. I mean…at least my PC is dying and lagging.

Alex’s Picks: Harajuku Ball Joint Thights

I kinda hope this won’t be too boring for you, but if you have checked out the last Evil Panda release, you might have noticed this really awesome piece of art.

Or at least…Halloween piece of art.

Okay so I personally like this piece. People were complaining on Stardoll Royalty that these doll joint tights already exist, albeit different, in Bod Mod. The first release. If you remember well, there was a doll outfit in the first release.

I disagree. I find stuff pretty quick, and I have never come across the doll legs for a reasonable price. Only 500 sd and up. So buying this replacement cheaper than 15 sd did my wallet and my budget pretty good.

The texture has a downside though. The Bod Mod version looked pretty natural and matching your color skin as it did nothing but shade and make the joints stand out on your legs. These are recoloring your legs totally.

Looks a little more natural in my opinion.

But the pair I currently have is better than nothing. Sooo…what do you think? Will you buy them? Or if you did, how do you like wearing them? Tell us in the comments 🙂

Famed Players: A Caring Project

Howdy!

After some time of inactivity, and being inspired by Ermi, I decided to showcase someone in this special blog.

Ana, with her Stardoll username Kehlana, is the founder of a project meant to help dolls living on a budget.

I have been personally investing myself in this project. Why? Because it’s brilliant. In most online games, you’ll be poked at for being a newbie, a ‘noob’. But you don’t need tons of sd to be really pretty.

Says me who tops up and I ain’t that pretty.

But I like experimenting with new dolls, and Ana has brilliant ideas to help both new and old dolls control their budget. Her project is totally selfless and it’s pretty much an honor to work with her and help as much as I can.

I WON’T spoil everything. You gotta find out about it more by yourself. Join her club, called TheCareProject and show some support. Gather activity points, gain access to exclusive sales and simply help out each other. That sounds good!

In case you recognize her only by the projects she has opened and conducted, I really want to mention that she’s an amazing blogger. I’m not sure if they’re still open, but a few series were: Coffee Break, Fashion Junkyard and Living on a Budget.

Her doll, Casiopella is used as an example for all her amazing ideas.

Famed Players: Creative outfits!

I’ve come round some amazig and super creative outfits of other players lately and I want to feature them in our blog! So here we go:

I am a real fan of mixing expesive and rare stuff with common and cheap ones. Not everyone have a million of rares, so when a memmber without a lot of them manages to get one, they need to match it with what they have in their closet. Marthagatt might not be one of them, in my opinion, but she did matched that super popular and stylish skirt from MSW 2017 with an old top you could buy in the starplaza for 0 sc. Yep, that’s right, it was free until like 2- 4 years ago, when it got removed. She also paired it with those SC shoes and that bow that’s still available for less than 50 SC. The whole Beaty Parlor Look also matches the look and yeah, I love it!

I am in love with the whole color palette of colors. Her hair have the same colors as the clutch and it’s oo pastel; I love pastel colors! Rather than that, the white top gives her the chance to make a full-light-colors outfit. But she chose this skirt, making a perfect contast and yeah basically getting awesomness. The shoes could be light-colored, but both me and ChanelM27, as it seems, think it’s better to add an other dark color, to make it better. Good job!

This is an outfit which I admire because of the simple items used in order to create a super stylish and classy outfit! The dress looks beautiful anyways, and the belt makes it perfect! And this match costs only 130 SC! The bag is a freebire, yep, that’s right, if you are over level 12 (you get it before that level) you already own it. If not, be a bit patient or replace it with any other clutch. The black one you get in one the first tasks of academy (the one where you shop for a party) would also work! The shoes are also really cheap (180 SC) and they look better than some black heels in my opinion. As for the accessories, she added a starcoin bracelet and the common Mom Earrings from Season, which are in starcoins too! So amazing!

What I admire in this outfit is the top. It’s made using a simple blac bra from BASICS for 19 SC and the Sequined Bib Necklace from Voile, which costs 40 SC. The bottom is simple yet super matching and stylish, it can be found in Callie’s Pop Shop for 94 SC. The silver thingie on her arm also looks good, not as good as those heels though. 30 SC in the catalog and here you are with this perfect outfit! Amazing!

The layering here impressed me! This dress, from Wild Candy, is quite pretty but it becomes even better when this Bonzour Bizou top is put on it! The shoes cost like 30 SC but their color matches perfectly with the top and the dress pops showing i’s awesomness beneath. The sunglasses finish the stylish outfit and that butterfly is so cute! The best layering I’ve ever seen!

I love the way she matched the 20+ SD jacket with a simple 55 SC dress from BASICS. The black match looks good with her makeup look and it creats a dark and stylish yet not-goth outfit. She adds the Nelly choker which makes the outfit even better, which is also a bit expensive at the price of 15 SD. The watch makes it daily and a bit casual (130 SC, Nelly) and the shoes match perfectly and are in starcoins too (120, Vinyl)! Her choice of adding the Anna Sui Glitter Tights (19 SD) is one I don’t agree with, but it still shows how such a rare item (it’s a tribute so) can be simply matched and still look perfect.

I fall immediately in love with this outfit. I am a fan of low-graphics items so this outfit got a huge thumbs up and a 5/5. I liked the whole dark blue-white pattern and yeah I love both colors. She used an old tingeling/Callie’s SC top to make a dress out of it and a cartoon-type skirt. The flower belt she used to decorate her dress had a dark blue stripe thing which isn’t totally seen because of its color so the flowers by themselves look awesome on her DIY dress. Now onto the white part: those low-graphics gloves match awesome-ly with the scarf and the bow heels. Generally every item matches perfectly with the rest. Incredible!

Last but not least, this was piimari’s entry for the second task of my club’s (UniWorld) cycle with the theme Bride and yeah I really liked it! Basically because only SC items are used! The veil is from Perfect Day, still available for a few starcoins. It’s dark, like the skirt (Wild Candy, 135 SC). The shoes can be found in BASICS for less than 150 SC, though I would rather see a pair of heels from Perfect Day. As for the top, she used this Bridal one from Voile which can be found in Starbazaar for SC. I realy love how creative she went using SC items only! So lovely!

What I loved in these outfits is how creative they went using methods like layers, DIY dresses, or just making outfits using limted buget. No needed to say how inspiring these dolls are. Go give them a 5/5 as a shown of admiration.

Freebie: POW Boots of Flaming

Well in case you haven’t gotten round to grab the answers for the newest Alphabet Soup game, here they are.

Callie has promised us a free thingie from the newest Other World collection, and that’s what she did: POW Boots of Flaming.

If you’re a collector of everything, like me, you won’t mind this. I personally hate yellow and mustard and everything in its association, but I wanted to grab all colors so it’s a good addition. However, if you’re really picky, you might dislike the color and have preferred something more versatile. Meh. Everyone to their own. XD

Tips & Tricks: Access the Old Stardoll

Howdy!

I’m currently working on a huge, long and hard blog series which is basically draining me alive. I’m also void of my laptop as I’m in vacation, hence the lack of posting.

However I want to share this cool trick I found some time ago.

You can actually access the old Stardoll homepage and the old starter dolls (old as in before 2015 I think?)

However, note that when creating an account, you WON’T keep the old starter doll you chose. You will get a random new one. Believe me, I tried.

Again, I’m using my phone, so the outfits won’t load for me because I don’t have Flash Player, but they will for you. You can select and enlarge the images of the starter outfits but again, you’re unable to save them on a new character.

Purpose of this? Relieve nostalgia I suppose ^^

Freebies: Influencer Shirts

Howdy! Okay so I must be using Internet Explorer…Anyways. Lisa.Stardoll has announced us their newest phone app/game called Influencer. It’s a tap tap tap game to gain influence, unlock platforms and all that jazz.

It’s kinda catchy, it’s not bad, but I wished we had some in game stuff like with Glam Fever, Cut-It and Fashion inc. Fashion inc. was available only for iPhone and iPad, you should still be able to get it but it’s incompatible with iOS11. When I asked them what’s up with the game, they said that most likely the game has been discontinued. It had awesome freebies.

Anyways, this game is Android-only for a change, but I happen to have a spare Android phone from my little brother. :3 They can’t defeat me.
